If you are departing from Ho Chi Minh City or other provinces near An Giang, you can easily book a bus ticket directly to Mount Sam, Chau Doc. Bus tickets to Mount Sam, Chau Doc typically cost only around 150,000 – 300,000 VND/one-way (depending on your departure location).

Alternatively, you can also go by motorbike or drive a car yourself to be more flexible with your travel. Annually, Chau Doc welcomes a large number of visitors from all over to visit Ba Chua Xu Temple and for sightseeing. Therefore, the transportation system and roads to Mount Sam Chau Doc are also very developed.
From Chau Doc city, you need to continue moving southwest for another 5km on Tan Lo Kieu Luong road, known as the most beautiful road in Chau Doc, to reach the Mount Sam National Tourist Area. The area around the foot of Mount Sam is a bustling market with motorbike and car parking lots, making it very easy and convenient if you drive yourself there.

The cable car system at Mount Sam is equipped with 37 cabins. Each cabin has automatic glass doors, a spacious and clean seating area, and can accommodate 8 passengers per cabin. The latest Mount Sam cable car ticket prices are:

- One-way ticket: 75,000 VND/adult and 35,000 VND/child.

- Miniature One Pillar Pagoda: Within the cable car station’s grounds, visitors will find a miniature model of the One Pillar Pagoda. This majestic pagoda, set amidst a lotus pond, transports visitors back to the peaceful ambiance of Hanoi, the thousand-year-old land of culture.
- Jade Buddha Temple: A visit to the Jade Buddha Temple on Mount Sam is a must for anyone taking the Mount Sam cable car. A rare jade block was once extracted from the global jade mining area in Northeast Vancouver (Canada), and this block was then crafted into a statue of Shakyamuni Buddha. The Jade Buddha Temple has enshrined this special Buddha statue and worships it inside the temple.

- “Ba’s Pedestal” on Mount Sam’s Summit: This is where Ba Chua Xu of Mount Sam resided before being escorted down to the foot of the mountain by nine virgin girls to establish the temple as it stands today.
