History of Nong Nooch Tropical Garden
Nong Nooch Dinosaur Park, also known as Nong Nooch Tropical Garden, is a popular destination for many tourists in Thailand. The park’s history traces back to its original owner, Ms. Nong Nooch Tansacha, from whom the name “Nong Nooch” originated.

In 1954, Mr. Pisit and Mrs. Nong Nooch purchased a hill, which is now the current dinosaur park, spanning 2.4 square kilometers, with the intention of cultivating fruit trees. However, after exploring various “paradise gardens” around the world, Mrs. Nong Nooch became fascinated and had an incredibly bold idea.
She wanted to transform her ordinary fruit orchard into a tropical garden, a place that would bring together unique and rare plants with impressive landscaping. This vision led to the creation of Nong Nooch Tropical Garden, which then successfully evolved into Nong Nooch Dinosaur Park—now known as the most beautiful park in Thailand.
